Hi, hi, happy Wednesday! So rather than bombard you with more of my boring Whole 30 eating ways, I have another special guest for you today.

I’ll be honest, when I went on The Little Honey Bee a few weeks ago and saw that my Dad posted a WIAW, I was pretty jealous! Why wasn’t I asked first?! Just a bit offended. But, I’m here now and couldn’t be happier!
On Wednesdays, I wake up at 8:00 AM to get ready for class. I always feel a bit tired today, because even though my class isn’t necessarily early, it’s the earliest one I ever have, so it just feels early. Make sense? Lucky for me, I’m a good little honey bee sister and have overnight oats waiting for me in the fridge! I eat my breakfast while reviewing my class notes as I’m pretty sure my professor hinted that we have quiz today.
I’m a Film and Media major so my production class goes from 9:30 until 11:30 which means I get hungry a little more than halfway through. Choosing what snack to bring to class is honestly pretty tough. I really don’t like when people bring anything thats loud to eat or has a noticeable smell as it’s pretty distracting and can definitely be unpleasant. Today I had some sugar snap peas and they were absolutely delicious.
When my class is finished, I walk home and try to get one big thing off of my to-do list. Today, that means finding all of the sources I need for an essay. Fun…
Lunch time! Woohoo! Lately I’ve been all about salads for lunch because they’re so easy to make and I weirdly like chopping things. Today I threw tomatoes, carrots, cauliflower, avocado and a few quinoa falafel balls over romaine lettuce with a bit of balsamic, lemon juice and salt & pepper.
One of the perks of my major is being assigned to watch movies for homework. Yup, you heard me! Movies for homework! Today I’m watching “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, which I’ve seen before, but it’s been a while, so I need a refresher. It just felt right to curl up and watch this with a bowl of oatmeal topped with diced apple and cinnamon as my afternoon snack.
Workout time. I can’t say I love it but it means that I get to listen to my iPod really loudly, which is good enough for me! I go on the treadmill for 30 minutes OR the elliptical for 45 minutes depending on whats available and then I do a weight routine. Afterwards, I come home and do a quick online yoga video before I make dinner.
Today I made ‘pizza’ on a whole wheat pita sliced in half to act as my crust. I pile on my Mom’s yummy tomato sauce, whatever veggies I have in my fridge and a bit of shredded cheese. This is probably one of my favourite things to eat at the moment.
I guess I eat pretty healthy. Ugh, Amy what did you do to me? I could really go for a huge bowl of pasta… white pasta… with butter and parmesan cheese… right about now.
I hope you didn’t mind me filling in for today! Oh, and confession, I totally made my food look nicer than it normally does.
