Weekly Meal & Workout Plan: November 10 – 16

Hi friends! Hope you are having a good weekend so far. Just popping in with my meal and workout plan for the week.

I’m crossing my fingers that my knee will feel good enough for a short run on Thursday. So far it has been feeling great (not perfect) but really coming along. My friend hooked me up with a guest pass at her gym for the week so I’m going to get in a couple of strength training workouts there — missing Crossfit but not ready for that just yet.

I’m looking forward to testing out some new dinner recipes this week too. I prepped some veggies and I’m going to finish the rest of my prep later today.

Weekly plan



  • Green monstah pancakes 
    , oatmeal, quinoa flakes – breakfast
  • Tuna salad
    –  lunch
  • Oatmeal raisin bars 
     – snacking
  • Tofu bowls: sweet potato, broccoli, kale, zucchini
    – dinner x2
  • Spaghetti squash pasta with bean “meatballs”
    – dinner x2
  • Breakfast for dinner



Sunday: Spinning and yoga

Monday: Spinning

Tuesday: Strength training

Wednesday: Yoga

Thursday: RUN!!!!  <– I’m excited!

Friday: Spinning and strength training

Saturday: Yoga

  1. That’s so exciting that you’re going to try running again on Thursday! I hope it goes well. :)

    Mmm I love tofu bowls, especially when they involve sweet potato and greens! And I’ve seen so many spaghetti squash and bean meatballs floating around lately – I need to try one soon. My favourite way to eat spaghetti squash is in my aunt’s recipe for spaghetti squash casserole with diced tomatoes and cheese!

  2. For some reason or another, my first comment never went through. Darn you technology! Let’s try it again — I always look forward to your weekly meal plans. Those Oatmeal Raisin Bars sound delicious. Heading there to check out the recipe.

    Great to hear that your knee has been feeling better for you lately. What awesome news! You can almost feel your excitement you have for Thursday. I’ll be praying the 1st run back goes perfect!

    I actually have spaghetti squash on our meal plan this week. Will be topping it with turkey meatballs & some sauce. I was going to make it tonight, but just realized my ground turkey never finished defrosting. #bigfail

  3. Oh I’m sure your excited for Thursday’s workout! I hope it goes well! I think im going to try to get a spag squash again this week. I love it for a quick and healthy lunch/dinner but after getting one that was so rotten on the inside I have been a bit apprehensive to get another.

  4. I hope you get that run in girl! But regardless I’m glad you are listening to your body! I just bought a spaghetti squash for the first time yesterday. I’m excited to cook with it. Also I’m hopping on the train in a few hours at which point I will be texting you! Happy sunday love!

    Don’t you feel unfulfilled living at home? Don’t you want to get a job and work in the real world instead of living off your parents in your expensive Patagonia, Ugg and TopShop clothing?

    Coincidentially, I had spaghetti squash [again], today. I tried the lasagna I posted in my link-up on the blog today and while a bit more time intense it was delicious. I have yet to try it the “meat”ball way.

  7. YAY RUNNING! I’ll be thinking of you on Thursday…. hopefully everything goes well. My week in workouts – a couple of body pump classes, then whatever else I have time to squeeze in- maybe some elliptical time & lots of treadmill walking. It’s snowing here, so I’ve had to take all my workouts indoors. It’s so sad. :( :( :(
