Hi everyone! How was your Saturday? I can’t believe it’s September… where did the summer go?! Don’t want to talk about it…
My friend Kevin and I had a blast at Color Me Rad yesterday!
We are a bit competitive and finished 1 and 2 (Kevin beat me in our sprint to the finish!) in about 21 minutes.
I took the longest shower afterwards and Kevin can tell you that getting the color in your mouth is not pleasant… but well worth it! I have officially caught the running bug… more on that tomorrow.
I don’t have much of a meal plan this week — the short work week and Jewish holiday celebrations are throwing me off. So, my food is pretty, well un-planned and minimally prepped. No worries, that happens sometimes. I still stocked up on lots of fresh fruits and veggies, Ezekiel bread, chicken and beans to keep my tummy happy. But I am recipe testing tomorrow so stay tuned if successful!
Meals & Snacks
- Protein oatmeal yogurt, granola, cereal & fruit for breakfast
- Chicken, spinach and loaded veggie salads for lunch
- Pizza recipe test… fingers crossed!
- Wingin’ it (and I’m not talking about chicken…)
Sunday: Sprint & ab workout
Monday: Run: 10km
Wednesday: Run: 6km
Saturday: Run: 12km — say what?!
