  1. Well done on your first race :) looking forward to that recipe.

I went out for brunch a couple of times, did a 15k training run (I’m training for my first half) and went for a walk in our local botanical gardens with my boyfriend.

    1. Thank you! That’s so exciting about your first half. I see you use a Garmin watch… how do you like it? I’m thinking about getting one!

      1. Do it!!! I love my garmin, I find it helps to keep my pace on track or know easily exactly how far I’ve run. It spurs me on. I’ve had mine for about 3 years and it is well worth the money if you are a runner :)

  2. Excited to hear about how your race went! And I’ve got a couple things on my meal plan this week (chicken stirfry, spaghetti with meat sauce made with ground turkey) but for the most part, it’s eating out everything in my fridge/freezer before the move on Saturday!

  3. I actually just found your blog from, interestingly enough, following the comments in the 1st commenter’s blog, to the 2nd commenter’s, and, now I’m here (funny how that works, hu?). I can’t wait to hear about that recipe, as well! Since it’s official release a few weeks ago, my hubby and I have been working through Shawn T’s new Focus T-25 program….I saw you listed Insanity. Have you tried that one, yet? It’s such a great workout, and we’ve been writing blog posts about our journey through it (I can’t wait to post them!).

    1. I did not know Shaun T had a new program. That’s cool! Glad you and your husband are enjoying it. I do Insanity a few times a week to change my workouts up a bit and since I haven’t joined a gym yet!

  4. Yesterday I went grocery shopping and also did some food prep. I also had a long run and spent the morning relaxing, so nice. :) Your meals all sound delicious! I look forward to seeing that cranberry almond bar recipe! :)

  5. Ah I can’t wait to here about your race!!! All you meals sound amazing! I’m invited over for food right? ;)
And so jealous of your color run! I’ve always wanted to do one of those!
