Hi friends! Happy Monday! Well what’s a better way to start off your week than with a giveaway… and my first giveaway at that! Yay :)
But before we get to the giveaway, let’s talk a little bit about what you can win.
Last week, I received some mail from an awesome company called Energybits.
They sent me a package of their “bits” to sample. I was so excited because I love trying new things (okay not new hamburgers but you know what I mean).
So what the heck are these things?!
Well… they are teeny tiny little bits…
…of spirulina algae.
I’d be lying if I did not admit to being skeptical at first. But after doing a whole lot of research (not limited to the Energybits site) I was definitely eager to try these out. The simple explanation is that these bits are algae tabs (100% organically grown spirulina algae) that provide a high concentration of energy for our body and mind. High concentration of energy? Yes. The protein concentration in algae is 64%. They are all natural and completely caffeine free.
A few more facts:
- Spirulina algae contacts 40 nutrients
- Each “bit” contains 1 calorie
- Best kept in the fridge
Now onto the trial and results…
Energybits recommends to take 30 bits before a workout but I wanted to make my sample last a little longer (frugal much?) so I took 10 before my run on Saturday morning.
I really did not think I would feel any differently but to my surprise I totally did! Would I lie to you?! No way. I went on the furthest (8.2 km) and longest (46:20) run of the summer and I felt like I could keep going. Maybe I found some motivation but my mind and body felt totally energized and awesome. I am definitely saving a handful to pop before my 10K :)
Now it’s your turn! Energybits has graciously offered to send one Little Honey Bee reader (that’s you!) their own package of Energybits to try out. You have a few different ways to enter so please use the Rafflecopter below and I will announce the winner on Friday.
Good luck, I hope you win :)
While I received this product free of charge, all opinions [as always] are entirely my own.
Have you heard of Energybits?!
